PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 10/100 1x3 Injection Tap combines the features of the 1X3 Aggregation Tap with data injection capability enabling a unique and secure 64MB network access solution for Intrusion Prevention systems.
Allowing the fail-safe pass through of a single full duplex network over standard UTP Cat 5 cable, the Injection Tap serves first to make exact copies of the network traffic, reclock the data and then transmit the monitor streams to two single aggregation and one traditional dual monitoring port.
Automatic data injection from an IPS back to the network is enabled via the Rx pairs of one aggregation monitor port only.
The injected stream will transmit any non-jumbo Ethernet packet.
Multiple LEDs indicate power status, link, activity, speed, any possible buffer overflow and data injection.
